What's New in Dentalys: October 2026

A live demo you can try without signing up, reminders patients can confirm in one tap, Google Calendar on every plan, and changes or cancellations handled in the chat.

We spent the last two weeks on the parts of Dentalys a clinic uses every day: the patient chat, reminders, the calendar and setup. Here is what changed.

Try it before you sign up

There is now a live demo clinic. Open the demo and chat with it the way a patient would: ask a price, ask whether a time is free, book an appointment. No signup, no card. It is the same assistant your patients would talk to.

Reminders patients can answer

Patients who book through your chat get a reminder 24 hours and 1 hour before the appointment. On Telegram, the 24-hour reminder ends with "Reply 1 to confirm, or 2 if you need to reschedule." Email reminders, sent to patients who booked through your web chat, have Confirm and I need to reschedule buttons, and replies go to your clinic.

A confirmation shows as a badge on the booking. A reschedule request lands in your handoffs, so your team knows to get in touch.

Changes and cancellations in the chat

Patients can now move or cancel an appointment in the same chat they booked in. Asking for a different time moves the existing booking instead of creating a second one, and the assistant asks for a clear yes before it cancels anything. Your Google Calendar updates to match, and web patients get an email confirming the change.

Google Calendar on every plan

Every plan can now connect the clinic's Google Calendar. Bookings appear there, and anything you mark as busy in Google Calendar stops the assistant from offering that time.

We ask Google for the narrowest access that does the job: events on calendars you own, your free/busy times, and the email address of the connected account. You can disconnect at any time from the Calendar page. On Clinic+, each dentist can also connect a calendar of their own.

A dashboard that keeps up

Bookings, the overview and the calendar now update live as patients book, so the front desk does not need to refresh. Services are grouped by category and have a search box, which makes a long price list much easier to manage.

Your clinic's time zone, everywhere

Dentalys detects your time zone when you sign up, and the times patients see in the chat, in reminders and in emails are in your clinic's local time.

Simpler setup

Setup now asks for your main prices up front, and the dashboard points out any service still without a price, so the assistant can answer "how much?" from day one.

What has not changed

  • Patients reach you through Telegram and your web chat, with a QR code for the front desk.
  • Instagram and Facebook Messenger are built and waiting for Meta's approval.
  • Dentalys does not connect to WhatsApp or to practice-management systems.
  • How we handle patient data is on our security page.

See it with your own clinic
